Operating grant: opioid crisis knowledge synthesis

We are pleased to announce that the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) has recently launched a funding opportunity in knowledge synthesis.

The Operating Grant: Opioid Crisis Knowledge Synthesis will support expedited knowledge synthesis grants to rapidly inform policies on opioids related to one or more pillars of the Canadian Drugs and Substances Strategy (CDSS) (i.e. prevention, treatment, harm reduction and enforcement).

To facilitate the linkage between knowledge users and researchers, CIHR has established a tool whereby knowledge users and researchers may signal their interest in this opportunity. Note that the use of the tool is not required for participation in this funding opportunity. If you would like to use this tool, please complete the following short survey.

CIHR will also be hosting a webinar on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM EDT. The webinar will focus on a review of the funding opportunity and questions from participants.  Please register for the webinar here.
