While cannabis is legally on sale in Quebec for people 21 years of age and older, it should not be assumed that this substance is harmless. Cannabis users are twice as likely to commit acts of physical violence, according to a study conducted by Alexandre Dumais and Stéphane Potvin, researchers at the Centre de recherche de l’Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal.
